This time I will try a bit for an interview with pop punk
band from kudus city which I think personally is a band that really can be
categorized pop punk, they are also very understand about what is root &
history of sub pop punk genre, for this interview We will be a little review
about the things that they do before the launching of the EP titled
"Untukmu Jagoan" & will be held in the city of Yogyakarta, do not
be taken seriously about the band's reviews, because you must be sure that this
band is also difficult to serious.
The band consists of
4 youths who are full of ideas to always work, there is always a desire to be
more advanced through the messages that are delivered everytime they perform
& to perform problems they are also not exactly normal because a few months
ago their guitarist just got the predicate The Best Guitarist In the ROCK
BATTLE event organized by one of the largest cigarette companies in Indonesia,
they are Azye (Bass / Vocal), Fatah (Guitar / Vocal), Bryan (Synthz) &

Can be told about the process of recording a
new EP from BERTERIAK LANTANK
We do the recording process in many
studios, but for the final process we do in DASDEZ Studio, which is in bawen
area of Semarang city, in the recording process we pack 6 songs & there is
one additional song created by our guitarist with the title "Melawan
Dunia".
In the recording process we used ephiphone les paul guitar
& some effects to have a typical sound that will accompany our work, for
our bass we use squiere PJ white, pre-amp hartke bass attack, synthesizer /
keyboard we use Juno Gi.
is there the hardest song played during BERTERIAK
LANTANK recording process?. Is there any favorite song for you in this new EP ?
Maybe overall there is no difficult song in the process
of taking recording because we all have memorized outside the head for our
songs, We do the recording process with a happy state, so maybe that energy has
a very positive impact.
Can you explain why you choose the title of EP "Untuk Jagoan"
In fact the theme we dedicate to all the heroes that
exist in this world, both already known and unknown. For us the hero figure is
someone who is very meritorious to the changes around him and to the world,
there is nothing better we can give except a work because only through this
work that we can give. Everyone is a hero to himself, carve history & make
the best for your environment first before proceeding to a big thing.
You come from kudus city, why would you prefer to
launch album in Yogyakarta town which in terms of distance very far from home
town ?
Actually this is a difficult question to answer, but
our consideration is Yogyakarta city full of artistic value, where the city has
a lot of activists indie music scene & our most basic reason is we want to
introduce our masterpiece in city full of battle Between sub-genres, some of
the best bands of Yogyakarta city will also enliven our EP launching event
& we support each other especially with pop punk band from Yogyakarta city.
All music artists in Indonesia will also recognize that Yogyakarta is one of
the city's iconic barometers with thousands of indie bands
Who is the influence for the band BERTERIAK LANTANK
For influence very much, both from domestic and abroad,
such as Four Year Strong, Sleeping With Siren, Pierce The Veil, BMTH, Blink
182, Green Day, Rancid, Simple Plan, Pee Wee Gaskin, Endank Soekamtie, SID and
many again
One last question you have to answer, who is the
Japanese sexist artist who made your recommendation ?
I personally prefer SHIGEO TOKUDA, because many things
hhahahahahaaaa

Jagoan" runs very successfully, waving the pop punk flag & introduce
to all the activists in this country that kudus city also has a pop band Punk
